Our Fish Creek Gallery

 Our Gallery is where you'll discover all the magic Alison Lester has created during her career as a children's author and illustrator - and you might even get to meet Alison herself!

Opened in late 2014, you'll find the gallery and book shop in the heart of Fish Creek in South Gippsland - not far from where Alison was born. Fish Creek is nestled in the middle of the landscape that inspired classics such as My Farm, Magic Beach and The Quicksand Pony. Not too far away you'll also find Waratah Bay, home to Noni the Pony.

The gallery is a dedicated 'Alison Lester Wonderland', with over 70 different Limited Edition prints on display and available to buy, along with all of Alison's books. There is also a wide range of greeting cards and wrapping paper.

We have a great reading library for both children and the young at heart to enjoy, where you can come in, grab a cushion and share some of Alison's wonderful stories.

We have examples of preliminary working drawings, sketches and displays of how Alison develops ideas and the process of turning those ideas into a picture book. and a great folio with lots of sketches from some of the earlier books such as Imagine, My Farm, Rosie Sips Spiders and Magic Beach.

The Gallery is a great addition to the town of Fish Creek, where there are already wonderful galleries, cafes, interesting shops and a great pub.
